Biography

An accomplished venture capitalist, and Angel investor, Khalid Suleimani has delivered more than 50 projects to public and private sector entities, through companies he founded, in a career spanning over 20 years. He is also the President of Badir sponsored Sirb Angel investor Network and serves on the board of companies he invested in. Established the first CMA regulated VC Fund to Alkhabeer capital, served as a consultant to the Ministry of Labour on SME’s and CEO of Alcantara Group, a three-time winner of the Sagia- sponsored Saudi Fast Growth 100 Award.
A regular public speaker, he is also the author of the recently published book: ’84 Tips to a Successful Business Startup’. In 2014, he was asked to teach his book in the Entrepreneurship course at Dar Alhikma University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The book’s 4th edition was released at Jeddah’s book fair on December 2015. The book was endorsed by the Saudi minister of planning, Harvard professor Bill Kerr, and early twitter executive Clair Diaz Ortez among others.
Khalid holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, and has completed the Executive Education Program in launching new ventures at Harvard Business School.
